Nicholas Aplin’s new body of work titled (Nothing But) invites the viewer to complete the statement. The paintings, oil pastel sketches and sculpture present an elemental depiction of Melbourne’s housing commission towers, pairing them with vibrant flowers and trees.

Aplin is interested in the urban landscape, issues of urbanisation, social structure and the flux of city environments.
